Sharon M. Dreeben, M.D.
Sharon Dreeben, M.D., is a prominent medical expert in foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Dreeben has worked with the national news media on a wide range of issues affecting foot health, including women’s footwear, cosmetic surgery for the feet, as well as sports and dance injuries. Her commentary has appeared in numerous articles, and on radio and television programs. As the past Chair of the AOFAS (American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society) Public Education Committee, she helps to inform the public about important foot and ankle health issues.
Dr. Dreeben completed her undergraduate work at Rutgers University in New Jersey, and attended medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry. She trained at Baylor University in Orthopaedic Surgery, and subsequently completed a foot and ankle fellowship with Roger Mann, M.D. She opened her practice in San Diego in 1989, exclusively for disorders of the foot and ankle.
